Drivers licenses suspended for overdue violation fines Nearly 13,000 motorists who owe the city of Shreveport money in fines for traffic violations soon will find out their drivers licenses have been suspended by the state Office of Motor Vehicles. The state has confirmed it will suspend the licenses until those cited by the city can produce receipts that money owed has been paid in full. Within the next two months, the city will ask the state to suspend drivers licenses of 12,949 violators who owe the city money on 19,002 traffic citations.
