Mitchell gives LSU offense a lift
Coaches as a rule tend to be hard headed, and LSU basketball coach John Brady's noggin may be as hard as they come.

For weeks early in this season, he refused to put one of his most talented players in the starting lineup. Radio show hosts, columnists and callers to his weekly radio show asked why sophomore guard Darrel Mitchell was not starting ahead of freshman guard Regis Koundjia. A fan of Mitchell's from his hometown of St. Martinville also wrote a letter to Brady with similar sentiments.
