About the Times

The Times, founded in 1872, is a daily newspaper published in Shreveport, Louisiana. For more than 128 years, The Times has been one of Louisiana's oldest, continually-operating businesses. Its' print edition serves 13 parishes in Northwest Louisiana, two counties in Southern Arkansas, and five in East Texas. It also serves anyone interested in the region through its online edition, Shreveporttimes.com, regardless of where they live.

The Times has been a driving force in Northwest Louisiana for promoting diversity, education excellence, human rights, economic and community development.
